Kirkland Signature Sauté Pans with Glass Lids Sold at Costco Recalled by Meyer Marketing Due to Laceration Hazard. Sold exclusively at: Costco Wholesale stores in the San Francisco Bay area and in the Northeast from May 2012 through October 2012 for about $35.

Harbor Freight Tools Recalls Cordless Drill Due to Fire and Burn Hazard. Sold at: Harbor Freight Tools stores nationwide, via catalog and online at www.harborfreight.com from April, 2008 through May 2012 for between $27 and $30.

GU Hardware Recalls Window Fittings Due to Injury Hazard: Tilt-turn Stay Arms and Side-hung Sash Hinges. Sold by: G-U Hardware sold the recalled window fittings directly to hardware wholesalers and window manufacturers nationwide from October 2002 to December 2011 for between $7 and $26.

Toro® Z Master® Riding Mowers Recalled Due to Fire Hazard. Sold at: Toro dealers nationwide from January 2012 through August 2012 for between $7,700 and $8,700.

Capital City Fruit, Inc. of Norwalk, Iowa is voluntarily recalling Capital Brand Clamshell Cherry tomatoes shipped by Rio Queen Citrus Inc. on November 10, 2012. Capital City Fruit, Inc. received notification from Rio Queen Citrus, Inc. following the discovery of a potentially pathogenic organism Salmonella. The recalled product was sold in retail stores in Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Bracco Diagnostics Inc. (BDI) is voluntarily initiating a Class I recall of nine (9) lots of Isovue® (iopamidol injection) Pre-Filled Power Injector Syringes (Isovue PFS, to be used in combination with Stellant® CT Injection Systems) due to the presence of visible particles in syringes observed at the end of standard stability studies on retained samples. These products were distributed to wholesalers and distributors nationwide. The dates for distribution of the nine (9) affected lots were from January 21, 2010 through May 9, 2012.

Verathon Inc., Bothell, Washington, is initiating a voluntary recall of GlideScope GVL Video Laryngoscopes reusable blades that were manufactured between December 2010 and August 2011. These laryngoscope blades have been found to be prone to developing cracks and/or breaking across the tip of the blade, which potentially could result in pieces of the blade breaking off in patient’s mouths and obstructing the airway or being swallowed. GlideScope GVL Video Laryngoscopes are used only by healthcare professionals and were distributed directly to hospitals and other healthcare facilities throughout the United States, Canada, and other foreign countries.

Ranbaxy Inc. initiated a voluntary recall of 41 affected lots of Atorvastatin Calcium Tablets (10 mg, 20 mg and 40 mg) which is a solid oral dosage form, to the retail level. This product is the generic version of Lipitor, and the product is used to lower blood cholesterol. The Company is taking this voluntary action as a precautionary measure due to the fact that we cannot exclude the possibility that the affected lots may contain very small glass particles resembling a fine grain of sand (less than 1 mm in size).
