Question Need honest opinions on infant seat selection.

The Via 35 is one of the tallest infant seats (not sure how it compares to the snugride click connect).
Here is a thread comparing it height-wise to the keyfit: http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=211332
In this thread you can see the height difference between the via and snugride35: http://www.car-seat.org/showpost.php?p=1920849&postcount=41

It is a pretty heavy seat, but the handle makes it much less awkward to carry than a lot of other infant seats (it has a spot that is wider on each side of the handle making it comfortable to rest on your forearm). I carried my son around in it until he was 24lbs and then I bought a Radian. At that point he still had another inch or two of growing room, but I was tired of carrying my heavy baby around in it and prefer a convertible for getting them in and out in the car if the seat stays behind. It also has a no-rethread harness which is nice. I absolutely loved my via and would get another one in a heart beat if I were to have another baby.

I haven't personally played with any of the other seats on your list (although my nephew rode around in an older Peg and my sister loved it) but thought I would throw the via out there since it seems to fit your criteria too.

I have a Via35, and am madly in love with it. I had my niece in a Scenera, but after finding a Via35 for a ridiculously good deal I decided to give it a go (thinking it would be more convenient for the winter). My neice (18mons) is pretty tiny-- I think she's up to 20 lbs and 24", and I am not tall (or even average height!) or overly strong, I find the Via easy to haul around-- it's not light for sure, and I wouldn't carry it on a 5K or anything, but I can easily get it out of the car and carry it across the parking lot and into daycare. Like the pervious poster said, while it's pretty heavy, it's definitly not as awkward as some of the seats (I really like the handle, unlike the handle on S. original Evenflo seat that I found ridiculously awkward). I definitly think the Via is worth taking a look at!

These are all great suggestions :) I haven't thought of the Via yet. I will look that up! As for the SR's I have never been a big fan of Graco infant seats, not really a specific reason I have just never liked the over-all fit/feel of them. Maybe it's just me lol
