No more RF for my oldest. :(

My daughter must have had a growth spurt in the last few weeks. I thought I had more time but I weighed her today and she was 45 lbs exactly.

She's 2 and almost 9 months. I was hoping to make it longer, especially since she outgrew the MR five months ago. I'm glad I got the Radian even though I got so little time out of it. For now I've put the MR back in ff since the deepness of it makes me feel more comfortable for some reason due to her age. The Radian will make a good ff seat when she gets too tall for the MR and I can use it for my son if necessary down the road.

I'm super glad I have the Impala too, since I was able to get the MR in the middle with the baby's SR35 outboard. I feel better having DD in the middle if she has to be ff.

Good for you for making it this long! I'd be sad too if I had to ff a kiddo under 3 but you did the best the you could.

Since I had the baby she's been nursing again. I bet that's part of the sudden weight gain I hadn't considered.

I'm not beating myself up too much because I did everything I could. Still just a bit bummed though.

I'm sorry you didn't reach your goal. We just turned around our 2y10m in my car because she only had 1" above her head on the radian. I guess at 40" and 35 pounds she's the same size as most of my friend's 4 yos. Some kids just grow really fast.
