car seat heaters?

I just to ask here if anybody know about a car seat heater or a good way to keep the car seat warm. Our car sleeps outside and in the mornings that car seat is frozen and I cover it with a blanket but it doesn't do anything.

Do you start the car at all to let it warm up before everyone gets in? If so maybe get one of those microwavable heating pads (with the rice or whatever in it, you could probably even make one) and stick it in the seat when you go out to warm up the car. http://www.comfortbags.com/

But, up until last winter our vehicles were always outside and the kids didn't complain too much about their seats being cold. I felt a little bad when they were cold enough to feel 'crunchy' though.

I didn't have this problem last winter with fue Radian but the fabric of the TFP is different and gets cold. That electric blanket might work. My car is old so it takes time for the heater to star working and she is RF so it takes too long to heat up the back seat.

Diono makes a product. No idea if it can be used with non-Diono seats, or even how it works, but it exists.

A hot water bottle would probably be the cheapest solution. Just plop it in the seat when you go out to start the car. I thankfully didn't have kids when I lived in a place it was so cold letting the car sit and run didn't make the vents blow hot air at all. My butt still froze though.

That's just what I need! Thanks! I don't plan to leaving on the seat when she is in it.
