Booster shopping (again. sigh.)

DS is six, 48" and 53lbs. He was riding in a Vivo (that we loved) but it started fitting him funny and he was complaining about his legs hurting.

I would like to keep it at or under $100. I also want something with good SIP. And he still sleeps in the car. I've been looking at the Graco SS and the ProBooster. Anything else I should check out?

I have played with the PW before, and honestly it just seemed like a glorified TB to me  I wasnt very impressed.

I have the Graco SS & I really like it. I like the depth of the wings on it & the SIP I feel it offers my son. There are pictures of my son in the SS in a thread here in Carseat chat.

I have played or owned the old style Monterey, tb, pb, pw, strada & vivo. I liked the chicco strada first & the monterey second best. I heard they have fixed the belt guide problem in the new montereys.

DH's car has two Boost Airs for our Ds2 and Ds3 (8 and 6). They have huge sip headwings, good leg support, and are under $100.

My 6 yr old ds started having the same problem in his vivo when he apparently started growing legs  We replaced it with a harmony v6 and it is definately not the tallest booster, but it is very deep (for leg room) and is working beautifully so far...I figure by the time he outgrows the back, he'll probably be fine in it as a lbb. hth :)
