Question Frontier 85 vs 85 SICT

If you had only one child who's seat is installed in the back, in the middle; is there any reason to get an 85 SICT over an 85?

Unless there would frequently be people sitting next to the seat, I can't see the SICT having any benefit over the regular 85 in the center position. I would go for the 85 IIWM.

Harness can be removed without uninstalling the SICT. Not that I'd personally ever have a need to do that, but hey, might be nice for shaking off a massive crumb or sand situation. Also I think the SICT doesn't technically ever need to be top tethered, while the FR85 does at 65lbs. And, if you ever had to or chose to put it outboard, you might feel better about the SICT. But I'd feel fine with my kids in either one of them :)

Yes, because it fits. :)
I dreamed of getting any of my kids the SICT and we can't. :(
There is simply no room. We do have an Advocate we can fit in the second row.
It's tough to convince me there is a such thing as overkill when it comes to SIP. But, we can only do what fits!
