Lao Chareune Foods, a Dallas, Texas, establishment, is recalling approximately 8,200 pounds of various beef and pork products because they were produced without the benefit of federal inspection and misbranded. FSIS has determined that the products were produced from May 22, 2012 to the present and distributed to retail establishments in Louisiana and Texas.

Ventlab Corporation initiated a nationwide recall of 14,602 of its manual resuscitators. The manual resuscitators as listed below have been found to potentially deliver little to no air/oxygen through the patient valve to the patient, which could result in life threatening health consequences that include hypoxia and hypoventilation. Recalled manual resuscitators were manufactured and distributed nationwide to distributers that sold and distributed products to hospitals, clinics and EMS units from March 2012 to July 2012.

Energizer Holdings Inc. (NYSE: ENR) (St. Louis, MO), announced today it is initiating a voluntary market withdrawal of the continuous spray Banana Boat sun care products (Ultra Mist / Sport varieties) due to a potential risk of product igniting on the skin if contact is made with a source of ignition before the product is completely dry. These over-the-counter products were distributed nationwide to wholesalers and retailers from January of 2010 through September 30, 2012.
