If you haven't been able to tell by now in my posts I am totally in love with the Chicco Keyfit
, it is by far my favorite infant seat. However the Graco Safeseat1 is always my second rec to friends, etc.
I was at Babies r us with Ryan and put him in the Safeseat.
At 17 months, 28 pounds, around 33 inches, with an approx. torso height of 13, he had about 1 inch of shell above his head.
For the heck of it put him in the Keyfit30 (I gave our Keyfit22 to BIL) and he was just even with the top - so he probably would have lasted to 12-14 months in the Keyfit.
I didn't have my camera but I'll try to remember next time.
When we have another baby I will most likely still get the Keyfit30 but I have to say that I love how long the Safeseat will last especially if I know the parents/friends I recommend it too will turn their baby FF when they outgrow the bucket, KWIM?
