It does say "new and innovative." Cybex is European, so no surprise it has a foot prop.

the pics of the harmony folding booster make it look really cool

it definitely folds more compact than the compass boosters

the stratofix does look like a euro version of the radian, but it would be cool to see it on the us market, though with the current offerings from Diono and the different combo seats that harness that range, I don't know if there would be much market for it.

I'm really excited about the Aton 2 because of the foot... if it is popular, maybe other companies will put a foot prop on their infant seat bases.

Harmony needs to take a page from KidsEmbrace and make that folding booster look like Wall-E.

It does appear that Sunshine Kids owns the patent for StratoFIX. I didn't know they had European seats. (Do they?) I just assumed it was a new FF seat they were coming out with. It looks pretty nice, although I wonder how heavy the seat is, and therefore if there will be any practical use for what appears to be rigid LATCH for those of us who RF beyond 20 lbs.

I thought expanding internationally was the story behind the name change. Sunshine Kids loses something in translation, so they went to Diono, which is a made up word that doesn't need translating.

Yeah, I thought someone was suggesting they already had one, then I re-read and realized it was speculation about what it was.

Maybe it's Diono's group 1-2 seat for Europe? I read somewhere they were to release something. I totally hoped it would be a convertible :( The picture doesn't show a chest clip, btw.

Isnt the JMPA only a North American organization though? I dont think they would be including a (hypothetical) European seat for this survey, so that makes me think Diono will be producing it stateside.

Yes, and Diono is supposed to have a new seat they are showing at ABC...

I love the look and features of the Strato Fix and really hope it will be a US seat.

I totally agree that would be somewhat weird

Diono currently has Monterey for European market.
