Older Radian rearfacing limits

I have a 7/08 Radian65. I just noticed that the rearfacing limits are 33 pounds. Is this correct or was there a retroactive change on this?

I thought that should be 35 pounds. There was a retroactive change made in 2009 for 9/08 and later. So yours isn't covered under that. But I had a 3/07 65 and it was 33 pounds. I remember being on the phone with SK asking when that change to 35 pounds was made and the best I got was summer 2007. So a 7/08 seat should be 35 pounds, not 33.

Yes, 35 lbs for 07/08. They changed the manual (but not the stickers) to 35 lbs in Dec 07. Structural changes were made 09/08- which is why seats after that got the retroactive 40/45 lb limits.

Yeah, they made no structural changes. Anything over 1/08 was 35 for sure, and possibly before. They USED to have this on their website but didn't carry it over when they changed to Diono. Personally, I'm ok using any Radian of that era to 35 regardless of labeling, knowing that there were no structural changes and seats were sent out mislabeled and people were told it was ok.
