sure ride now the titan elite?

I was just at target and seen that the sure ride is now off the shelves and now there is a titan elite in it's place. Is the titan elite the sure ride?

That was so weird how it came out, then disappeared. I guess that must be it, a naming issue.

The sure ride was upto 65 lbs.

Yeah I had a Titan Elite for my DS when he was born in 2010 so it's not new.

The Sure Ride was still on the shelf at my Target earlier this week. But none you could buy.

Gah ! I saw this seat a while back and went to buy one and even the display was gone. It was so weird. I wonder what happened....

It's not actually for sale yet. When I asked the Evenflo guys at KIM they said that some Targets had display models, but they weren't going on sale until December. Maybe they put them there hoping for feedback and now have the final version in production so no more need for feedback? Not sure. Hopefully they do away with the bottom three slots for rear facing and the 37" rear facing limit.

My Target yesterday had removed the Sure Ride and replaced it with Titan Elites in the exact same colors. I'm so so so so so so so disappointed. (I really hope they are coming back in December, but it's going to feel like a long two months!)
