Great deal. I got the leappad for my daughter (not on NBD). She loves it. I just really hate the battery charging situation and that it doesn't have the mp3. I believe the leap pad 2 fixes that, so I'm tempted but I feel it's so wasteful since she has a perfectly good one that it no yet a year old.

Had the leap pad 2 in my cart. Went to check out and it vanished. Lame.

I was saying consumers do affect the policy changes. It's unfortunate that people like you were on the wrong end.
I am merely explaining, from a corporate standpoint, why retailers change their policies and prices. It was more to be educational to people who may not know the inner workings. I am not stating what is or is not an acceptable return for NBD. I apologize to anyone who takes these comments personally, as they are not intended as such.
