Monterey + Corolla?

I hope this is in the right forum.
My sister has recently purchased a 2012 Corolla, and my niece will likely outgrow her MA by the time she turns 5. She's considering are the Oobr (she likes dd's), but I thought the Monterey might be a good fit for her as well. However, I didn't want to put it into the mix if there was a known compatibility issue. Does anyone have any experience with Montereys and newer Corollas that knows either way, if the belt stays in the guide? Thanks!

Diono has fixed the Monterey belt guide problem. I looked at it in person the other day and there's no way the belt is falling out now. If you have (or get sent) an older one with the open belt guide, Diono will send you a new headrest with the new guide.
