Britax sgl parkway question

I think they're saying you can install it without actually climbing in the vehicle ("installed from the outside of the vehicle"), but I don't understand how that's possibly unique to the SGL.

maybe because the pull strap is on one side and you could, in theory, stand outside the door and pull the strap tight? This is also a weird claim seeing as how the Cleks literally need a push from any angle and they're installed, so Britax isn't alone in the "outside the car" install?

:yeahthat: It's because of the pull strap.

I have the sunshine kids Monterey. It has a pull strap too.

I could see parents being confused. I am confused....

It can be installed outside the car so just put it on the roof rack right? Lol

Uh oh. I've never climbed into the car to install DS's Oobr. Or Turbo. Or Lite Rider. Do you think I voided the warranties?? Shoot.

They're only claiming for LATCHable boosters, so two of yours don't count. ;)

What differentiates the installation of the Parkway SGL from other LATCH-based boosters

It is slick that you only have to pull one side, but saying it's the only one that can be installed from outside the vehicle is... yeah, a stretch.

My sunshine kids Monterey installs with just a pull strap too from the front. I just do not understand and I have asked instructors as well as other techs.
