Buying a new car - infant car seat advice needed!!

We are in the process of buying a new car and are deciding between the acura tl, BMW 325I and Lexus IS300. The infant car seat we bought is the graco snugride (w/base). Does anyone know whether this carseat fits securely in any of the aforementioned cars in the middle, rear seat using the LATCH system?

If you already have the seat, then I would take it with you...

When we were shopping for cars, one of the first things that i did was to install my child's(I only had one at the time) seat in the car to check the fit. The salespeople looked at me like I was a nut, but it had to be done!

Before you buy any car, keep in mind that your baby is only going to be in the snugride for a little while, and then will have to move to a larger, still RF seat. My DS is only 5 months old, and already at the height requirement for his snugride, so we went ahead and bought the Britax Marathon (after returning the Evenflo Triumph 5). Just something to keep in the back of your mind...

I've done a Snugride in an IS300 at a check and it was very tight. They also had a forward facing toddler so the seat was outboard, but I don't recall there being much space in the middle anyway. Not really a kid friendly vehicle IMO. I have no idea what they did once they had to move the baby to a larger rfing convertible seat.
