I have been preparing for a presentation on car seats at the library. I have been searching for good coloring pictures, but the best I can find is of a child in a high back booster. All the car seat pictures I found are really out of date. I would just draw my own pictures, but I can't draw. Is there someone here or someone you know, who could draw coloring book pages of children in properly used car seats? I'd like both rear-facing and forward facing kids in car seats, please!

There are a lot of Graco images from their manuals that are line drawings -- sometimes there are kids in them and sometimes not, of all stages of seats. I have permission from Graco to use a number of them in a brochure I've done, with the GRACO removed, so maybe they'd let you do that? I got permission through the Canadian division, not sure who you'd contact in the US but it's an idea.

That's a great idea! How did you get a hold of someone who could give you permission? Every time I call or email I get a cs rep who copies and pastes from the manual or reads it to me.

Do you have a college or high school with an art program locally?

My sister goes to a good art school and she made a book for my son and simply posted on the bulletin board craigslist like thing that she wanted someone to do some illustrations and she had several people email her. I do think she payed the girl something. But if it was a high school you might not have to pay.

I think I phoned and asked for who I would speak to who could discuss this with me - someone in marketing maybe, is what I originally asked for. It was a while ago, I don't actually remember how I found the person I ended up speaking to!
