Cosco Scenera 40f on airplane??

Hi! I am traveling on Friday with my 17 month old son who is over 30 lbs. I bought a new Cosco Scenera 40f to take on the airplane. I love the two cup holders and how lightweight it is, but it looks very wide. Does anyone have experience with this particular model and travel? How hard is it to install on the plane and in cabs?

The Scenera has removable cup holders. It sounds like you got an Apt.

It's lightweight, easy to install, and you'll probably want to put the armrest up. In cabs, you might want a towel handy to roll for the angle.

YES!!! It is the APT, I totally thought I bought the Scenera and it was a new model with cup holders! Thank you! Is it as well liked as the Scenera? It seems like a great seat -- my big boy had a nice wide , roomy seat, I just worry about its width in cabs and it being enormous on the plane. Thanks for the help!

It's taller rear facing than the Scenera, which is nice. I find it potentially easier to install. The top slots are lower, so plan on it as a rear facing only seat, unless you have a remarkably short torsoed child.
