Tell me again why a Blvd. cover won't/can't go on a Marathon frame?

Maybe I'm trying to talk my self into it, but I just don't see why a Blvd. cover wouldn't fit a Marathon? There's got to be something obvious that I'm totally missing. :whistle:

The actual cover and the cover for the headwings on the Boulevard are separate pieces. There's a big square hole in the top of the Boulevard cover for the headwings to come through.

ETA: Also since the harness on the Boulevard is infinitely adjustable there's only one set of holes for the harness in the cover and it's on the headwing portion.

So, there's a firm body piece that the headwings fit over that is part of the Blvd. frame, but not the Marathon?
Essentially, the headwings *can* be used with the seat, they just won't be *on* something. More or less, they will be "sticking" to the main cover via friction and some by the harness holding it on? Because the harness pieces can be adjusted regardless.

Yes to the first question. The second I think I might understand what you are saying. Since you would have to move the headwings piece up to match up with the harness slots you are using I don't think it would completely cover the hole in the cover when you are using the top slots. On the Boulevard the headwings come up over the top of the shell so I think in the top slot the hole would be visible plus the headwings piece would kind of hang over the top of the carseat. The headwings cover is heavy too so every time the child gets in the seat the headwings would have to be put back up. I personally wouldn't use a Boulevard cover on a Marathon. Sorry if I completely misunderstood what you are asking.

I wouldn't recommend it, it would interfere with the marathons straps and in an accident could cause injury to your child if your childs head flew forward and the padding of the "wings" would not be attached to anything.
