TrueFit RF harness question

Be forewarned that I am tired and today has been awful ~ so if I come across as dumb or rude, please forgive me. LOL :p

I have owned 3 truefits over DD's 3 years. All of them for brief amounts of time. I am on my 3rd now and DD is older. It is an older one (expires 2015).

I noticed that only the bottom 2 harness positions are usable for RF. Is that true for all Truefits? If so, I'm wondering how older/longer-torsoed kids do? I was thinking of the issue we're seeing with the new Evenflo SureRide (Titan65 - whichever) with only the bottom slots for RF thus creating a problem with older kids and the harness sliding off their shoulders.

I am going by the sticker on the side, not a manual (I don't have one).

IIRC the sticker on the side just means that the bottom two slots cannot be used forward facing. Correct me if I am wrong but I believe that all slots can be used for rear facing.

My TFP states that I can use the bottom 3 slots for RFing and the top 3 for FFing. It is a Canadian one though so may be different than the US ones.

ETA for clarification since it doesn't have 6 harness slots.. 1, 2 and 3 for RFing; 2, 3 and 4 for FFing.

When the True Fit was first released, it only allowed the first 2 harness positions to be used RF. They later changed that to the first 3 harness slots and made it retroactive.

Exactly what I was going to say. You could probably call and ask for new stickers showing the allowed slots.

1,2,3 all allowed for RF.

2,3,4 all allowed for FF.
