just because of the pain-in-the-butt-ness of taking the cover off and on again to clean it.

For $500 I'm pretty sure the cover would have to wash itself. Maybe even drive you around and serve champagne.

I know. I'll probably tag it at $45ish. But I deserve every dollar of that for wrestling that [bad word] cover and those stupid plastic tacks so that the buyer will get a pretty clean seat.

It's going to the church consignment sale (where I wish they wouldn't sell carseats, but since they do, at least I know mine is safe and I will put a big note on it about expiration).

I didn't find those plastic plugs any trouble at all...

After I got out the pliers & hammer (no, seriously).

It's the worst! I ended up just leaving the cover on the sides because I didn't want to deal with 8 more pins. I only washed the head, back, and bottom parts.

I haven't washed Piper's yet (and we took the back off, so I likely won't for a long while), but I was impressed by the sheer number of attachments back there. That cover is not going ANYWHERE. Wow. Even just on the bottom.

Lol, I flipped my s*** trying to get the cover off. I thought I was going to throw it at a couple points. I ended up making DH do it (which he did in about 15 seconds. I obviously loosened those pins for him )

Yeah what is with diono/sk seats and the practically super glued on covers? I also had one of the grippy rubber thingies on the bottom of our radian come off and getting that back on was an exercise in cursing practice.
