SR 22 vs. Coccoro

Does anyone know which is more compact when installed? Trying to figure out what to do with new baby this winter in 06 Outback. Current options are to use the SR22 left over from DS or buy a Coccoro. Front to back room is the big issue in this car. Newbie is going behind the passenger, and I'm trying to get as much legroom as possible. If the CCO will get me another few inches, I'd be all over that.

Snugride will also be used in my primary car; the car in question is DH's, and he won't be going out with her much for the first few months so I don't need a bucket in that car.

Also, since I don't have a Coccoro, is it a smooth adjust harness? Cause a ratcheting harness would be a deal breaker in my house.

The Coccoro will take less space both front to back and side to side. It achieves the necessary recline for a newborn via the insert, so it installs more upright.

The harness adjustment is smooth. Just make sure you pull straight toward the vehicle seat back so the strap isn't at an angle. The strap tends to get fuzzy if you pull to the side at all. Not a huge concern, you just need to be conscious of which direction you're pulling.
