Combo seat with no rethread harness

I need a seat for DH's car, '08 Cobalt 2dr, that can be shared between my 5yr old and 3yr old depending on who he picks up. Both are 31lbs and neither one tall or long torso'd...but I want the harness to be adjustable without reinstalling. I'm looking at the Argos...but wondering what other options I should consider.

50 lb AOE? Triumph Advance? Other than those I am drawing a blank. Argos would get longer use. I think you already have a boulevard.

Complete Air 65, because you can adjust the harness from the front and wouldn't have to uninstall the seat. My 5 year old would still have tons of room in it.

Can you leave one of your current seats set for the 5 year old height wise and see if it tightens enough for the 3 year old? I would be okay with the harness being a slot too high for a forward facer as long as the harness can tighten enough to pass the pinch test.

The Complete Air is such a tall seat so that would be a great choice. My 6 yr old still fits in it with one 'slot' to go. Any of the Evenflo seats with the harness that slides are good and the True Fit.

I vote Symphony 65, Triumph 65 or Dorel Hybrid Go.

ETA: if the knobs on the Triumph are going to be an issue for him then the Symphony, or even the Momentum would be a better choice.

With the "Go" each side of the harness has to be tightened independently which might be a pain when you're leaning into the backseat of a 2-dr vehicle.

OK, so looking at convertibles...I just ordered a Size4Me for my DGD. Maybe I should try it out with my 2 before giving it to them. It's only $10 more then the Safety 1st....hmmm..... :) :) :)

OR....do I buy her a FR85 and move her BV to the Cobalt? Do I need 3 FR85's?? With the twins 5, I'm not sure that I will harness them much beyond 6...then she would have 3 FR85's....although that wouldn't be a bad thing as she is likely to be heavier then both boys and could benefit from the higher weight limits....and I do have grandkids.....hmmm....

The S4M is SUPER easy to adjust from one kid to the next... Takes barely more time than buckling the harness. FWIW.
