Best Way to Mail/Ship Cover

What's the best way to mail/ship a car seat cover? I'm on the east coast and someone from the west coast wants the cover from my expired FPSVD. She's hoping to get it for $10 but I want to make sure it will get there undamaged and at least recover the shipping costs and Paypal fee.

Shove it in a flat rate box and pay online? That's about $10. Have her send as "personal-money owed" instead of a purchase and Paypal won't take a fee...

flat rate box or (if it will fit) flat rate envelope... the envelope costs 5 dollars and the box costs 10

then you can even get delivery confirmation for an extra 75c

It could be cheaper to send it in a free priority box (non flat-rate) or well taped up Priority mail Tyvek envelope (also free) and print off the label online. A marathon cover using runs me between $7-8 (which includes free delivery confirmation when you buy priority mail postage online.)

Also you can tape it up at the PO using their free priority mail tape or go in and request a free roll but you can only use it on priority packages.

I have access to a Tyvek Priority Mail envelope that the cover fits in but it measures 12"x15" and I didn't see that size when trying to estimate costs on the USPS web site.

If you aren't using Flat Rate packaging, just put it in as a "package" and add the dimensions and weight to get an estimate.
