I paused the TV and showed DH. He thinks the idea is that the guy does everything wrong, and that's the "point"... I think it's just a crappy showing of how not to install a car seat...

I don't think it has anything to do with car seats, or him doing anything wrong. They were expecting one male child and found out they were having boy/girl twins, so he was prepairing for the girl.

I agree... it was clearly about him changing things from being ready for one baby to being ready for two... and then saying they needed to call remax for a new home because the nursery wasn't big enough for two babies.

No, I understand the idea behind the commercial, I meant at marker 0:14 where he's installing the car seats... he snaps in the seatbelt, routes the shoulder belt over the top?, then rattles the seat around?

On a totally side note though, the colors of the babys' room reminds me of Prevacid, lol.

that's actually correct for the evenflo discovery... you don't route it in the beltpath... and he was checking that it didn't move more than 1"

I think it's an adorable commercial. New dads learn as they go.
I think it's sweet and like that they split room colors.
