I just wanted to say thank you to all you lovely, helpful people. I needed a new seat for my son and I ended up getting him a true fit. I could not be happier with the decision. My son is 16 months old and he is still only on the first slot of the true fit (without the insert). He could ride w/o the headrest for 2 more lbs but we decided to leave it on anyway. It installed well and the height of the shell is astronomical. My daughter still has several inches above her head in it but she's over the weight limit (by 1 lb). By the way, she's FIVE! So I have several years of him riding safely rearfacing. Thank you!!!

Glad you were able to find a seat that works for you! I love the red and black. The kids are super cute trying out the new seat!
