Seat for carpool

DS2 will be riding in my friends 2012 Lexus RX 350 once a week. After all the horrible side impact videos would you use a radian xtsl outboard RFing or would you get something else? He will be going about 10 miles on fast busy roads where I see lots of side impacts. There's a chance he might go forward facing sooner rather than later given his possible motion sickness. I am thinking maybe a Size4Me though I'd rather not buy a new seat but will if it makes sense.

Well, the XTSL has headwings. :) And RFing he should stay well contained within them in a SI, assuming he is over the third slots/tall enough to use them.
