When did your child outgrow the Scenera?

Rfing? Ffing? Pics are always welcome!

Thinking about buying one as a back up for dd and dn to use. I was going to take dn for the day yesterday but couldn't because her parents left her with a Comfort Sport from 2002 :( Not only was it very much expired but it was smelly and had visible mold up one side. I'm waiting for our free G3 and will have that as a back up, but that could be up to 4 more weeks. I can't justify buying the Scenera just for the off chance I may be able to have dn over, dd would need to fit also.

I don't have a Scenera, but the spreadsheet says the top slots on the Tribute are the same. J was 2 1/2 at the time and 36 pounds, he was just under the top slots and outgrew it a few weeks later. He outgrew it by weight RF at 21 months.

My kids outgrew it ffing somewhere around 4. Don't remember about rfing though.

My friends twins outgrew theirs at around 4 as well.

My dn will likely outgrow it around 2. He's 15mo (ffing unfortunately..I've tried to convince them otherwise to no avail) and is even with the second to top slots.

I have a tribute & DS outgrew it RF sometime before 18 mo. DS is almost 2 & DD is 3.5, they would both use it on the top slots with not much room to grow.

We have a few

Newest version:

My daughter is 4.7 months and just outgrew it. She's 4o lbs. and at top slots just about.

My son could RF until slightly under 3 years old.

Old version:

There is a RF height limit of 36" (if I remember right?), so not very long going by that. And the 35 limit weight RF, but that was never an issue.

My son outgrew it FF just after 2.5yrs old. He never rf in it but based on how he fit at 2.5 I would guess he would have outgrown it right before or right around his 2nd birthday

My niece and nephew (32lbs and 29lbs, not sure on exact height) who are 5yrs and 3.5yrs still fit in it FFing. Neither of them do RFing. DS obviously has a fair bit of room left to RF in it.

ETA for photo

Here is DS in the Scenera (not installed in a car but in the RFing position) at 5.5 months old. It is the one that goes to 18kg RFing (39.6lbs, so similar to the 40RF US one). I have to say that I am disappointed by the lack of room that he has in it considering his age. It looks like he will outgrow this at a comparable time to his via and I was planning on using this in DH's car once he outgrows the via (and stealing the RXT for my car at that point). ...and it only goes up to 32" RFing, just like his via.

My son still fit RF in it last year, I think. (We have a 40RF Scenera.) He still has some room to grow FF at 5y4m. Yeah, he's little.

I think my average-sized DN outgrew it RF around age 2, and FF around 3.

My other DNs are either very tall or on the small side, so their experience is different.
