Why am I not satisfied?

I have had a Decathlon(britax replaced with MA) , Marathon, Boulevard, and Radian 80 for Camille and I have not been satisfied with any of the above as RFing convertables:eek:...

I have the Radian 80 princess right now and I am really ambivalent, I could take it or leave it...until I have to install it in someone else's car and then I can leave it.

So what is my problem? I am so picky now...

Or can I not like anything else RFing with so many found memories of the Roundabout RFing? (Used with Jackson, and replaced after a wreck)

Oh, I am so depressed because I can't find anything I like:crying:

Should I just suck it up and be happy that she is properly harnessed?

I guess I have missed your previous thread, so forgive me, but what why were you not satisfied with the MA, BV, and DC?

Ok, now I have to tease you, but maybe the Recaro is your magical fit :p

Ok, the DC I liked except for the horrible adjuster problems...

Britax replaced the DC with a MA and she seemed so lost in the bottom of the seat for some reason and no matter how I much I tightened the harness and taking the HUGS off, she never seem to fit right...

Then we traded for an almost brand new Boulevard. It was more of the same problems but now she really hated the head wings and kept lifting her head out of them so we sold it.

So I bought the Princess Radian and have had it 2 days. I don't like how small the sides of the seat are: they don't seem like much protection, and something about how low the seat is bothers me, safetly wise. (Probably all in my head)

So there it is, I am nuts...

If you loved the RA for rf, why not get another one? You obviously have no problem buying, selling, or trading seats ;) so when she outgrows it, sell it and get a MA. By then she'll be bigger and she should fit in the MA harness more to your liking. :twocents:

:eek:My DH agrees with you and says if I could buy, sell, and trade stock with the same ease, I could work with Meryl Lynch!

I am actually considering it but....I am embarressed I have went through so many seats...Why can't I just be happy:dizzy:

how long as it been since you tried the MA/DC? maybe shes filled out more since then and you might get a different result.
Have you tried any of the "cheaper" seats? like the triumph? uptown? etc??

maybe the recaro will be your next magical seat, but why not go back to a roundabout which you know you like then assuming when she out grows it and can be ff then get a safeguard or regent or something like that, or maybe you would like the marathon then, but a lot of it sounds like perception, your guessing its not as safe or something is the matter, think about practicality of each seat, if its comfortable for your child and for you to use

Arly, I agree with those that are urging you to get another RA...If you really are planning on a third, you will have it to use for the new baby. You already know that seat is the one you prefer above all!

We've tried a ton of seats too. Maybe you should try the new Recaro and see ;) or get another Roundabout like someone else said. I like the Radian for my older daughter but not as much for my younger one. I don't have side curtain airbags so I feel like she is vulnerable in the Radian with no sides. I know that it has the steel frame so maybe I'm paranoid too. Also, I find it harder to install RF in my vehicle over the Boulevard. You should get a seat that works in your car and your child. Whatever that may be. Good luck finding one that works. Let us know what you end up with!!! I'm a cover freak so have had a ton of those too. I wish that they made the Olivia cover for the Boulevard.

I didn't see this addressed, but with the child actully being lower in the car they are at a lowered risk, or so all the test results from SK seem to say that, the low profile is a good thing... but i agree i didn't like it for allie and she's almost 3 year old, she just looks more snug in the marathon, but for an older child i really do love the radain as well.
If it was me, i'd get the seat you know you love, then worry about it when she out grows it.
