Boulevard cleaning

A friend's DS threw up all over her BV. She's wondering if it's fine to hose the whole thing down. She knows to not submerge the straps or use chemicals. Thanks :)

When I called Britax about cleaning my Boulevard, they said I could use a gentle soap on the harness (eg regular dish soap) and pat it dry (then hang to completely dry), and rinse the buckle in warm water. I can't see a problem with hosing down the plastic parts, but I'd try to be careful not to get the attached webbing soaking wet.

Not entirely sure what she means, thought someone else may. I've only got a RA55 so not sure if the padding is different.
