Diono: Replace after Any Crash

My van was crashed into (for lack of a more descriptive... description) this past week. While my van sustained substantial damage, it *technically* passed NHTSA requirements. I wanted to hear Diono's thoughts, so I sent them a message asking (and offering to send them pictures). The response:

Hope everyone is ok. In our manuals on pg 7 it states:

"Do not use restraint after is has been involved in any accident. Damage to the restraint may have occurred which could impair its ablility to adequately protect a child"

There you have it, folks. NOT NHTSA guidelines. (and FTR, I was replacing regardless. I just wanted Diono's take on it).

Yes the manuals have always said after any crash. Russ and Allana have their own rules.
