RA 55 vs Classic MA

ETA: Or recommend a different seat that will fit in our 3 across. :) Currently the set up is in a '09 Murano with (from drivers side across) a RF RA55, literider, PWSG Both booster riders can buckle. It's tight, and they have to take turns, but it is doable. Dh wants easy loosen, easy tighten of the harness. M's current stats are 33" tall, 27lbs and just turned 2. She still has about 1/2 - 1" left in the CCO RF atm. He does not like radians (the logical choice). Seat does not move in and out of the car, hardly at all so ease of installation isn't a huge deciding factor.

What are the differences? Dh needs a new seat for M for his car. She is quickly outgrowing the CCO and we currently have a RA55 on loan. He doesn't like that one either. Says the harness is too hard to adjust and that the straps don't feel as good as the classic MA we used to have for C. The base bugs me because I am short and whack her head on the door frame when I put her in, but it is mostly dh putting her in/taking her out. Anyway, she is in the 33% for height so it should still last her quite a while but I've been out of the Britax loop so am wondering what the differences are?
