Ordered an Orbit Toddler to get through a pregnancy

Funny but the one thing that scares me about a potential pregnancy #5 is how to handle the challenge/pain from getting the toddler in out of his seat and stroller. (I have just one who needs 100% help doing all that). With #4 it was not easy. So, lol, I'm being proactive. We take like 4 trips a day! Yes, we might use the Orbit toddler seat a little over 9 months, but those 9 months go on FOREVER when you feel like an elephant! And maybe in the future we'd use it again. Once the actual potential baby would be born we'd move toddler to back anyway, so a swivel feature would be useless.

But, I ordered it since it swivels. I have back issues. Anyone have any comments about this seat?I can't see that the Orbit looks any "less good" than his current Advocate. It actually looks very decent. And I'm pretty picky about side-impact and all that. I LOVE how it's free of toxins. I'll miss the RF tether, but nothing I can do about that.

I also have the G-luxe stroller (lightweight umbrella) for toddler, thanks to those here who recommended it.

Orbit doesn't have a tech discount for personal use, from what I can tell?
I hope we like it! We have options to RF past 35 lbs. with our other seats so that's not an issue. We'll probably get the baby seat for the potential baby, too. Orbit is kind of sneaky and with having to invest in the base, well...all I can say is I better like it. :) A few visits to a massage therapist and it's the same price anyway. I'm having back issues even now so anyway, it'll be a help with the swivel feature.

We have one and really like it. We didn't have our orbit when we had or 2011 ody so I can't speak to the install. I have it bc DS2 is impossible to get in the seat and this seat gives me a little advantage at getting him in over his regular seats. It installs at such a lovely angle... Perfect for sleeping and for not taking up much space rear facing. It gives him a lot of space for his legs rear facing. We don't have an orbit stroller bc we love our stokke xplory. Orbit does not have a tech discount.

I can post pics if you'd like.

I thought Orbit did have a tech discount? I mean, they say for demo use, but they acknowledged to me (as did Clek) that that includes use with your kid in your car-they know parents ask ”what is YOUR child in” and that we use our personal seats for demos.
