Someone posted a thread last year about greyhound having seat belts and LATCH. I thought I would update with pictures for those interested.
Greyhound has a new line of direct route buses called Bolt. The fares depend on the day, time, and time of purchase. Each way will cost a different amount. But they're cheap! Kid seats are half price I believe.
We just got the new Bolt buses here. They are remodeled greyhound buses with more leg room and wifi.
Anyway, all their new seats have adjustable Safeguard seat belts. They adjust really low. Like TB lowest setting low. Behind the seat belt it explains that the adjustable seat belt is for riders over 40 lbs. Riders under 40lbs need to ride in a seating location equipped with LATCH.
I'm going to guesstimate that about a third of the seats have LATCH. The lower anchors are very easy to see and get to. The top tether on the other hand, is not. The top tether is located at the back base of the seat like on a lot of captain chairs. The greyhound seats are tall though. So unless you have a very long strap or a versa tether, there could be issues.
Here are some pictures!
I'm sorry the pictures aren't clearer. The people thought I was really weird taking pictures of the seats. And sorry the pictures are sooo big!
