What age and height is your child when even with the top slots? He's 48 inches and just turned 6. 54 lbs. He is even with the top slots on the Radian (some days he looks a tad under). He has a TINY bit of room to grow on the Prosport. Just curious, even though torsos vary, to get an idea...thanks!

I know its not specifically what you asked but my 6 year old (37 lbs and 43.5 in tall) is even with or just over the top radian slots..and had loads of room in the fr85 at the store a few months ago. Like it would've last him until he was 9 or something. Lol.

And my son is either even with or even under the Radian XTSL slots at 48 inches. That is so weird. I think his torso is average. Huh.

Ah, decisions!

DD is 8 years old, 49.5" tall, and has about 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch before she's even.

DS1 was 8.5 years old and 52" when he was even.

My 49" 6 yo has at least an inch of room to grow in the FR85... not that that helps you a lot...she's over the top of the FR80, but I'd expect at least another year or two in the FR85.

My 6yo, 45lbs and 45inches, is close to the top slots of the RN XTSL. (within an inch I think) She had at least 2 notches left on the FR85. I just sold the FR85 and moved her to a Monterrey. I don't feel the need to harness until middle school :p and I was tired of her fussing that the harness was too tight when it wasn't. She sits well and can buckle herself in the booster.

And my six-year-old DN (who used to be ALL torso before she suddenly started sprouting legs like crazy!) is jsut under the top slots of the Radian at 50" tall. She went from one extreme to the other, I guess-- all torso to all leg!

The Frontier's top slots are 2.5" taller, so that's generally 5"-7.5" of overall height.

I'm 61" tall with a 22" torso, so working back from me, that'd be 55"-57".

My 55 in tall 8 yr old still fits. I can check next time we are in the car how close.

My 45 inch 6yo dd has 3-4 inches of space before she reaches the top position. She's since moved to a booster for day to day driving, but goes into the Frontier for long road trips.

My son is 5, about 45 - 45.5" and using the top slots of the Frontier85. About 1.5" to grow the way that it is currently installed but typically has about .5" (not sure what's different this time, more upright or something? Not purposely, just the way it happened to be when I finally got it tight on the 8th attempt, but I'm trying hard not to uninstall). He's at the same spot, shoulder-wise, as when we got the seat close to a year ago, just growing legs this year (finally!)

He hit the top slots on the Radian at 3yrs.... older three, not sure exactly how many months anymore, but a couple months before he turned 4. He was 41" tall on his 4th birthday.
