We looked at the 2007 Outlander as my DH has a 2004 Galant that we love. Our initial look at the car left us very impressed. The second row definitely seems generous enough to fit three across.

The VERY disappointing part came when we looked at the third row. I knew the third row wouldn't be as comfortable as the second, but that was okay since we only have two kids and would only use the third row on certain occaisions, not a regular basis.

Our salesman started by telling us that the third row was not recommended for anyone over 5'2"; anyone taller would be risking serious head injuries in an accident! When looking at the seats, I wondered if they were car seat capable. The salesguy had to look that info up, and later told me that carseats are not allowed in the third row. I don't know if that includes booster seats or not.

Overall, I was pretty impressed with the car, if I were looking for something with two rows. It has lots of gadgets and safety features for the first two rows. The three-row version leaves much to be desired and it's really kind of scary that someone who doesn't read carseat manuals, much less car manuals may use that row for someone who it wasn't intended.

Hope this helps.
