Any Civic owners?

Dh & I currently have a f150 and are paying on a new cr-v. (we're not upsidedown on the loan). However, we recently moved to a new state (suprise move like 5 months after we bought the cr-v:eek:) and with job changes/me being a wahm now and dh in a different business we are thinking about selling both cars and becoming a 1 car family.

Anyway, we were thinking about getting a 2010 or 2011 civic. Our carseat situation is 2yo DD rfing in a radian with an angle adjuster. And new baby on the way will be in a keyfit. I have a scenera as a backup seat when the baby outgrows the scenera. Will these 2 seats work in a civic? Will it be super tight or will dh who is 6'0 have enough room? How is the trunk space? Will it fit a jogging stroller ok? Thanks!

I have a 2006 Civic, which is the same body style as the 2010 and 2011.

All the seats you mentioned-- Radian with angle adjuster, KeyFit, Scenera-- fit beautifully in the Civic. I don't think I have any photos of the KeyFit in my car, but here are some of the Radian (without angle adjuster) and Scenera.

(this photo is OLD... from before we knew shelf liner shouldn't be used under seats. Please ignore the shelf-liner)

What type of jogging stroller are you wanting to put in the trunk?

We have a 2012 Civic so the body is a bit different than the 2010 or 2011. I honestly think the 2012 is smaller than previous years. But anyways, we are able to fit our Jeep jogging stroller in the trunk with no problem at all (swivel front wheel) but I'm not sure a fixed wheel jogger would fit cause I haven't tried it.
As far as interior space, my husband is 5'4 and I'm 5'3" and while the backseat is a decent size as far as a smaller car goes, I still feel smushed in the front seat, even with the seat all the way back so for your husband who is 6 foot plus a rf carseat behind the seat it will probably be a tight fit. We've only ever had one rf seat in there and it was in the center do it wasn't too bad, but I don't know how 2 would be.

Thanks for the pics. Do you know if the front seats were all the way back? THey seats (esp the britax) look pretty smushed against the seats.

Stroller is a baby trend w/swivel wheel.

The seats were one click (or maybe two) away from all the way back. Both seats were *close* to the front seats, but I could easily slide a manila folder in between the seat and the headrest, so there was *some* space. Not a lot, but some! The angle of the photo makes the Britax look bolt-upright. It wasn't that upright, but the angle is funny.

That stroller should fit without a problem. :)
