Peg Perego Recalls Venezia and Pliko-P3 Strollers Due to Risk of Entrapment and Strangulation; One Child Death Reported. The strollers were sold at various retailers nationwide, including Babies R Us and Buy Buy Baby from January 2004 through September 2010 for between $270 and $330 for the Pliko P-3 stroller and between $350 and $450 for the Venezia stroller.

Kolcraft Recalls Contours Tandem Strollers Due to Fall and Choking Hazards. Sold at: Burlington Coat Factory and juvenile product specialty stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com, Target.com and other online retailers between February 2012 and July 2012 for about $250.

Motion Sensing Security Lights Recalled by HeathCo due to Electrical Shock Hazard. Sold Exclusively at: Home Depot Stores from September 2011 through April 2012 for about $30.

BF Goodrich Commercial T/A A/S and Uniroyal Laredo HD/H tires are being recalled, sizes LT235/85R16 120 Q Load Range E and LT245/75R16 120 Q Load Range E. These tires may develop a separation at the tread/belt edge.

Sartori Inspirations, LLC, is initiating a voluntary recall of a small number of Ciolo branded products distributed to some Whole Foods Market stores. The items may contain onions from Gills Onions, which may have been contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Some or all of the recall items were distributed to Whole Foods Market stores in the following states; AR, CO, CT, KS, KY, LA, MA, NJ, NM, NY, OR, PA, RI, TX, UT, VA and WA.

Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. is recalling prepared foods that contain chopped/diced white onions as an ingredient because the onions have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. The affected products were sold only at the following Wegmans store locations during the periods listed. No other Wegmans stores are affected by this recall: Downingtown, PA (7/11 through 7/26/12), Collegeville, PA (7/18 through 7/26/12), Allentown, PA (7/19 through 7/26/12).

Gills Onions Expands Voluntary Recall of Diced and Slivered Red and Yellow Onions, and Diced Onion and Celery Mix Because of Possible Health Risk. The recalled products were shipped directly from Gills Onions to retailers in Canada and the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Illinois, Montana, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Utah and Washington.

Wellements LLC is issuing a voluntary recall of Baby Move™ Prune Concentrate liquid dietary supplement, because the supplier of one of the ingredients used in the product has indicated that the ingredient has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella. Wellements Baby Move™ Prune Concentrate was distributed from January 2012 to July 2012 nationwide through retail stores and online retailers.

Cool Creations, LLC of North Kansas City, Missouri is recalling specific packages of products containing onions, because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. Product was distributed to retailers across Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma. The affected product can be identified by the lot code 12201 – 12208 which were distributed July 19 – July 26, 2012. Products are branded as either Cool Creations, LLC or Fiesta Garden Fresh Salsa.

Whole Foods Market in the state of Florida only has initiated a voluntary recall of certain fresh food items sold in prepared foods departments, as well as one item sold in seafood departments of their 17 Florida stores. The items are being recalled as they could have been made using raw yellow onions processed by Gills Onions, LLC, which initiated a recall on their product due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The potentially affected products were prepared and sold at the company’s 17 Florida locations only, between July 7, 2012 and July 27, 2012. The stores include: Biscayne, Boca Raton, Coral Gables, Coral Springs, Ft. Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Naples, Palm Beach Gardens, Pembroke Pines, Phillips Crossing, Pinecrest, Plantation, Sarasota, South Beach, Tampa, Wellington and Winter Park.

New York State Agriculture Commissioner Darrel J. Aubertine today warned consumers in the Metropolitan New York area not to consume “Quesito Colombiano, Colombian style Cheese” made by Productos Tita Corp., 70-06 88th Street, Glendale, New York 11385 due to possible Staphylococcus aureus contamination. The recalled Colombian style cheese under the Brand name “Tita” is contained in 8oz. clear plastic pouches or tubs with a plant code of #36-8440 and with a stamped code of “AUG 10 2012” stamped beneath the label bar code. The product was distributed in the Metropolitan New York area.

Simmering Soup, Inc., Atlanta, GA is initiating a voluntary recall of the following Trader Joe’s brand of Salsa and Balela because the products contain diced onions that are the subject of a U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recall due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The recalled products, which are packaged under the "Trader Joe’s" brand, were shipped between July 25 -26, 2012 to Trader Joe’s stores in the following states: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Southern region of Virginia.

Cargill Meat Solutions, a Wyalusing, Pa., establishment, is recalling 29,339 pounds of fresh ground beef products that may be contaminated with Salmonella Enteritidis. These products were produced on May 25, 2012, and were shipped to distribution centers in Connecticut, Maine and New York for further distribution.

Huxtable's Kitchen, a Vernon, Calif. establishment, is recalling approximately 5,610 pounds of Trader Joe’s Brand barbeque chicken salads. The salads contain diced onions that are the subject of a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recall due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The product was produced between July 20, 2012, and July 24, 2012, and was distributed to retail establishments in Arizona, New Mexico, Southern California, Southern Nevada and Texas.

LSG Sky Chefs, an Orlando, Fla. establishment, is recalling approximately 735 pounds of ready-to-eat RaceTrac Chipotle Chicken Wrap products. The products contain diced onions that are the subject of a Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recall due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The products were produced from July 22 to July 26, 2012, and shipped for distribution to retail establishments in Florida.

Enslin & Son Packing Company, a Hattiesburg, Miss. establishment, is recalling approximately 314 pounds of Cedar Grove Red Hots sausage products due to possible Listeria monocytogenes contamination. The product was produced on July 16, 2012, and distributed to retail establishments in Meridian and Philadelphia, Mississippi.

Land O’Lakes Purina Feed LLC has determined that an additional Purina® product (Fish Chow® Meal, WellSolve W/C®, Game Fish Chow®, Catfish Chow®, Minnow Chow) falls within the scope of a previous voluntary recall, and is expanding a voluntary recall to include the one variety with specific lot codes listed below due to the potential for elevated vitamin D levels. The products were initially manufactured from April 2, 2012 through May 8, 2012 at the Richmond, Indiana facility and distributed nationwide.

Arthur Dogswell LLC, Los Angeles, CA 90025, is voluntarily recalling 1051 cartons packed as either 10 or 50 packages per case of Catswell Brand VitaKitty Chicken Breast with Flaxseed and Vitamins because it has the potential to contain propylene glycol. High levels of propylene glycol in the treats could result in serious injury to cats. The VitaKitty treats were distributed nationwide via retail stores and mail order from April 13th through June 14th, 2012.

CRM Laboratories is conducting a consumer/user level recall of all X-ROCK 3 Day Pill For Men and Z-ROCK products sold between October, 2011 and April, 2012. Finished product of X-ROCK 3 Day Pill for Men and Z-ROCK was tested and found to contain an analogue of an ingredient in an FDA-approved drug. The products were sold as wholesale in the US to distributors who further distributed it nationwide through internet sales and at retail.
