My sister is expecting #2, and they'll be 13 months apart. She has a Be All, but it's too small already with just DN.

Any suggestions for big, functional (pockets, dividers and such), and not too frilly?

I LOVE my Vera Bradly Get Away Tote. It's huge!!! And WASHABLE!! I have 6 kids, so really like big bags.

I like that It can zip, but you don't have too. The zipper kinda folds flat into the tote. I prefer totes because you don't have to dig to the bottom of your bag all the time, just open and look in. I'm going to order another one of these to use for a swim bag. They discount colors all the time.

My 2nd favorite is the Vera tote. Another great bag. Still large, but not so huge.

I don't care for their diaper bags though. That's because I prefer a tote though.

I love my Lands End Little Tripper diaper bag (although it doesn't look anything like what they do now!) and have heard lots of people who like the big Do-it-all version

Thanks, LE is having a sale this week, too. I had the do-it-all with ds, but it doesn't look quite the same now (looks bigger, better).

Pretty sure Vera Bradley is out. Bil stays home part time, and he'd never carry any of the prints. ;)

The Skip Hop Duo (I think that's what it's called) was my go to bag right after having DS2. Held everything I needed, plus more! This is still my go to bag when we will be out all day and I need to pack extra stuff.

Some DH's are like that, lol. Mine don't care. Though they do have some darker prints, I'm thinking navy/white and black/white.

I was going to suggest the Vera Bradley Miller bag. I can easily fit everything for my toddler and baby. My DH doesn't really care about carrying it around.

Also the Skip Hop Bento bag was good. I have one of those, but it just wasn't the right bag for me.

I'm on baby #4 and by FAR my favorite is the one I got at Walmart that has the wipes holder on the outside. I have saved so much time from this feature! Obviously if you want to get her a brand it's not going to work, but if you're looking for big and super functional, it's my recommendation! Lots of pockets, big, washable and has a nice pocket on the outside to keep the changing mat so it doesnt contaminate everything else. It's brown with green trim but i think they might have another color too.

Fisher Price also makes a bigger version of the bag PP mentioned. http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=11059615 I believe they only come in brown/green or black/gray, but they are very big, practical and reasonably priced. I have heard though that the wipe container it comes with may let the wipes dry out. :(
I have the Skip Hop studio diaper t:pote and love it. It's quite big, has lots of good sized pockets, quality materials, and doesn't look like a diaper bag. Also comes in other colors. I have a skip hop studio that I am about to put on ebay because it is just too big for me. I like smaller bags. If I have a big bag I always pack it with more than I need. The studio is huge!
