It would really depend on the length of the buckle stalk. If the stalk of webbing on the female end is so long that the buckle winds up in the "beltpath" of the shield, then it won't work.

It would work as long as the buckle doesn't wind up under the guides, no? That would be an immensely long buckle.

I don't think the stalk length is standardized but I can ask a friend of mine to measure the length of the ones in her bus. That will at least give us an idea.

I know that the old Britax Laptop was incompatible with the buses in my school district's fleet for this reason but I have no idea if it will also pose a problem with the KWP (which has a higher beltpath).

I really need something easy to install ds2 takes the bus to preschool .
and sometimes they send a bus but no car seat.
