New idea to prevent accidental seat unbuckling

Is that not a huge laceration risk? Those top edges look way sharp!

Only if you were sticking your hand down there and playing with it, right? Although, having to buckle the booster might make that more likely.

I use one of our many unmatched Babylegs to cover the buckle :)

The water bottle is very thin and flexy. I'm not at all concerned. It is meant to be a reminder to him. Wrong buckle! Plus, he slides under the belt because the belt guides on the Bubble Bum are a pain.

That is pretty much my point. If the seats are so close the booster riders are accidently unbucking the wrong seat they are accidently going to reach and possibly cut themselves both when buckling and unbuckling, especially if they are shoving their hand in there 'blindly'.

how about a little scotch tape around the top of the bottle? It would keep anyone from scratching their hand. Problem solved.

I could have done a better job cutting too.

With thicker water bottles that would be a great idea.

You would have to try to cut yourself with this one!

I have one of dh's athletic socks tied around the stalk to keep it up out of its hole for buckling. That might make it apparent which one is right.

I have a small chunk of pool noodle with a slit and clear packing tape closing the slit around my buckle stalk. Same idea. Was just about to order a Buckle Biter, but this works amazingly well.
