Question Stroller recline

Yes! The flat recline for diaper changes! And a removable , washable pad because those first few months you're just so tired and often forget to put a changing pad down in the stroller first.

I'll 3rd the diaper change space. My bucket seat owning friends always mention how jealous they are.

My first response was for a bee, too. The bugaboos are actually more roomy than you think, especially the new bee. Even though it folds toward the ground, it doesn't have to be pushed all the way down, I don't think. It is really light weight, great hood coverage, reversible seat, folds with seat attached reversed... etc. But, out of your price range.

Since baby is already 4 months, I am not sure the type of seat is as much of an issue. I don't know. Maybe I will check out the newer strollers out, and let you know, like the new mamas and papas, etc.

and Anne, you decided

I've got the Mylo if you have any questions. It has a seat where the back reclines independently of the seat bottom. I've had it since TechnoBaby was just over 4 months and she's 6.5 months now.

I have a bucket recline and I have preferred it with this last kid. I also know how much I love the baby facing me now...definitely need to have that on all strollers for babies from here on out.

With our stroller Brecken just kind of lounges and seems really comfortable. I also like the different positions it allows for recline. Also he seems more part of the crowd with the bucket recline like he doesn't disappear into the black abyss when we lean him back...he is still with us and visible. That totally makes so much sense, huh?:p

Makes sense to me. It's because with bucket seats, the canopy reclines with the seat. Independent reclining back seats usually have the canopy static and extra fabric that extends when the seat reclines.

I got lucky with the Mylo in that it has the independent reclining back and the canopy reclines with the seat. So, like bucket seats, no abyss to disappear into! LOL

Boy would you all like the bebe confort seas that were available in Europe. Best of both worlds. As it lays down, it flattens out.

I don't have a pic of it fully reclined in my pb account, but I think in this one you can see how the seat the baby is in is flattening out as it is more reclined.

You've all been so helpful. I looked at the BJCM again tonite. The back seems pretty hard. Maybe I'll look at the B-agile instead. Still would love to get my hands on a peg perego switch ...closest place is an hour away. I looked at the Bee too. Looks good but doesn't appear to have a child snack tray. Their site says its for all models except the Bee. It's been six years since my last baby but I remember using the tray quite a bit.

Anyone hear when the Versa is coming out?

From what I understand, there is a generic tray that works with the bee. I can see if I can find out what works if you are interested.

That would be great! I've looked on their site and none of their photos show the Bee with that snack tray. I did find a few on Craigslist/Miami for $300-$400 - so its a bit of a drive, but may be worth it. Ebay has them for about the same. They seem pretty light weight for having so much. Do all the models (years) have the height adjustable back, reversible seat, and extended seat bottom?

I would only go with a 2010 or newer Bee plus. There were a lot if improvements made that year, including the adjustable seat back & bottom. The easiest way to tell is the wheels-- starting in 2010 they have spokes, earlier ones are all white. This is a good comparison of the models: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4N2iX_QeSA"]2010 Bugaboo Bee (aka Bugaboo Bee Plus) - YouTube[/ame]
I'm not aware of any tray that will fit the bee. I always just clamped a snackpod to the side of the frame to hold my DS' cups & snacks.

Anyone hear when the Versa is coming out?
Sometime in August.

I've never seen a snack tray for the bee. It would clamp on weird bc the sides are curved.

The original model has an extendable seat but not back. It also has wings on the seat that take up a lot of space IMO. But it comes with the canopy. There was a break issue on the original model so if you look at one, make sure is has the extra clips buffering the back wheels. Bugaboo sent then out for free when the break issue was discovered.

I'm do glad you told me about the tire difference on the Bee. I saw 2 in eBay at about $350 but both have white wheels. My kids tend to be pretty tall and the adjustable seat is a real plus.

I think I'll wait to see the Versa then make up my mind. But my chunky monkey (almost 19# now at 5 months) needs a bigger ride soon:)
