LATCH installed in 3rd row Odyssey

Can LATCH be install in the 3rd row of on an Odyssey? I can't get the center seat bet in my 2004 van to tighten down to intall a FF Triumph there.

Unfortunately, no. No such retrofit is available. There are optional top tether anchorage points, though.

Thanks for the info. I guess the seat just has to be installed outboard in the back. The middle lapbelt has a piece of plastic on it that makes it impossible to pull it tight.

Those tabs do cause a problem for some child seats...

Aren't we allowed to take those plastic things off? Anyway, one trick to try is to recline the vehicle seatback and get the seat really tightly installed, then pop/pull/push the vehicle seatback back up. Also, just try working with that plastic thingy, and you'll figure out how to get it out of the way so that you can tighten the belt more...sometimes it's just a matter of giving it some time staring at it and fiddling with it. So far, I've never had a problem getting a tightly installed seat in that position, if it's any consolation

I have thought about just cutting that plastic thing off. Right now we have two kids in the 2nd row captains chairs. We'll probably have 1 more in a couple of years, so at some point it will be necessary to install a seat back there. I'll have to take some time to fiddle with it in case we ever need to do that. Thanks so much!!
