I dont know what Graco was thinking with those they are a pita

Graco is hardly alone in it. Dorel still sells rear adjust infant seats, and Evenflo may still have a couple floating around in program circles. It used to be far more normal. There used to be forward facing rear adjust seats as well (before my time).

They're usually slightly less expensive too. Probably explains their "popularity". If people knew what a PITA they are they might shell out the extra few dollars.

I only see a bunch of them nearly every day now because I have to go sit at the swimming pool for my littlest kiddies' swim lessons. Rear-adjust cosco, evenflo, and graco infant seats are super popular in my town. It's mainly because the only store in town that sells car seats is walmart and all the infant seats it carries are rear-adjust.

Now, that, is ridiculous

I had a graco treasured cargo for my first child. When it was time to get a ffing combo for second child I knew to look for one that adjusted in the front. I didn't know that you weren't supposed to put the bulky coat in the car seat, so I'd have to uninstall on the first cold day and then when it got warm the next day, my dd had loose straps.

Didn't Century have one in late 90's? Or maybe my brain is to foggy.
