There used to be forward facing rear adjust seats as well (before my time).

Graco is hardly alone in it. Dorel still sells rear adjust infant seats, and Evenflo may still have a couple floating around in program circles. It used to be far more normal. There used to be forward facing rear adjust seats as well (before my time).
