Does anyone ever get nervous lending car seats out? I usually never lend mine out but a friend of mine who i have known forever and i have had many talks about extended rear facing and she decided to keep her almost 1 yr old rf. She came over the other day with there cars to have me install convertible seats for them and show them how. I gave her a seat for her car that non of my kids fit in anymore and then i went to install the seat her sister gave her in her husbands car :( it was an expired comfort sport and they have to have 2 seats cause of there schedule so I let them barrow a seat now I am so nervous about it I told her don't wash it dont get straps wet ect ect my concern is they let a friend barrow the car alot she drives her niece age 1 around i hope she doesnt take the seat out and mess with it they dont ff her but then again hopefully they rf her for awhile. My friend is looking for a new seat or 2 to buy I was telling her about the new evenflo coming out.

I lent SIL my Maestro and she checked it as luggage after telling me she was going to install it on the plane. So my new policy is that I am not giving out seats that I expect to have back. I'm about to give away my TFP to friends who are adopting with no expectation of it being returned.

I am lending my CARES harness to the neighbors though.

Well I bought car seats for my godson. His mom is great about using them, even on the plane (with pic for proof!) so I know she hasn't washed harness straps or anything. The understanding is they are hers to use, but when she's done I have a right to sell or keep them, and if I'm transporting another kid then I can pick up whatever extras are at her house.

Other than that, I've given away a Turbo. I knew I wouldn't ever want it back dirty, so I told the mom to keep it.

Hopefully it wont be long before she orders a new one so I can have it back I think I have a car seat problem I don't like having it not at my house lol even though its just a spare, I have been helping her look at seats she loves my roundabout 55 and how easy it is to install, she also likes the my ride and wanted my triumph 65 till I installed it in her car for like 2 min and she realized the knobs were a pita

I don't loan out seats unless I don't care about the seat.
I loaned a spare scenera to my friend 2 years ago, and I haven't asked for it back, even though I know her daughter has outgrown it. If she gives it back to me, I will probably just keep it for a BRU trade in event.
