Early 90's? Maybe mid? Just based on it having a base and the cover. I haven't paid for the color pictorial at carseat.org, but I'm sure someone has. (Evenflo bought Gerry sometime around then, too, I think Gerry's were just going off the market around 97 when my ds was born, or slightly before that, it was a big brand when I was babysitting kids born in the mid-late 80's).

Ok, that was a long trip down memory lane

Oldest DS was born in '96 and had a Gerry convertible. That infant seat was out when he was born IIRC, but don't know how long it was made after that. Either way, it's waaaaaay old.

I think that is early 90s. If I recall correctly, Century had bought out Gerry by the time I started working in a daycare (1995?).

I have a seat with that exact cover (different handles and no base) at my parents' house waiting for a BRU trade in! We got it at a thrift store for 25 cents for my dolls when I was little :)

The DOM on mine is 95 I think?

Sometime the straps will have a sewn in tag on the straps... Look on them and sometimes you can find a date when the straps were made.

That's the same seat I started a thread about yesterday (but a different pattern) :D .... the one I had yesterday had a date stamp on the bottom of the seat. Put the seat into glide mode and flip seat over, the date is on the mid point of the seat, not base (I found the stamp was easier to read when in glide mode)... however I am still learning how to read date stamps so I am not sure I did it correctly.
