RFing for Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

I am currently shopping for a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited (4-Door) but my current RFing Baby Trend infant car seat barely fits and cuts into any passenger space. In hindsight, the infant seat was a waste of money so now I am looking for a RFing/FFing car seat that will fit into my soon-to-be car. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

Any Britax will work? I want to make sure my passenger seat isn't against the dash and that there is room for passengers/other car seats in the back.

The good thing about Jeep/Britax combo is both allow you to borrow the center LATCH. So it installs super fast and easy there without being on top of the front seats. I find the center seatbelt to be a pain.

I'd be happy to post pics if it will help.

I have pics! I'll post them later. The newest gen Britax convertibles work great in any position. Seatbelt works great in center using lockoffs.

In order to install a carseat with the seatbelt, the belt has to lock somehow. Newer cars, you can usually just pull out the belt and slowly retract it. You can also use a metal locking clip or use the built in seatbelt clamps on a carseat (called lock offs). I like using lock offs so my seat doesn't tip. The new Britax lock offs are notorious for being a pain to use in some cars but they work great in the Wrangler.

I can get a better picture showing front to back space when I get home.

ETA: since the middle seat doesn't have a headrest, my daughter can see everything out the back. She loves it!

Here's another (albeit poor quality) picture. The car seat isn't remotely touching the passenger or drivers side chairs. The driver's side is set for me (average 5'6" woman) and I sat in the passenger seat quickly and had about a foot in front of my knees until they hit the dash.

This car has been one of the easiest I have dealt with as far as car seats go! It's so flexible!

Thank you! I feel confident buying the Britax Boulevard :) Hopefully my passengers will have a little more space behind me seeing how I'm only 5'1"!
