Hello everyone. Some of you may know me as Allport, but I'm now going by my real name! I have retired from Transport Canada and have started a new exciting chapter in my life of car seats. I am partnering with BRITAX as their child passenger safety advocate in Canada.

I worked for Transport Canada for 27-years leading investigations into vehicle crashes across Canada, inspecting and evaluating children’s restraint systems, air bags and seat belt assemblies to identify and determine safety defects. I also oversaw Transport Canada’s testing of seat belt assemblies, children’s restraint systems and children’s booster seats. I have conducted training courses for car seat technicians and car seat instructors across Canada, training nearly 3,000 individuals in child safety.

I am looking forward to working with BRITAX to help keep children safe. To me, BRITAX has always been a leader in child safety and I’m delighted to be a part of the team.

So, that all being said - I am available for any questions or concerns or just to chat!

You helped me last year, when I needed a replacement NSM for my SafeSeat before flying AC to Australia - you were super helpful! (Of course, AC being AC, they still found a way to make a fuss, but with the NSM in place they didn't have too much if an argument!)
