Question RF limits?

The MyRide has no stated RF height limit, just the one inch rule. It's easy to install RF but very reclined and a little difficult to install FF. Make sure you try the new buckle before you decide though.

I have also seen the True Fit at Babies R Us

True Fit isn't carried in stock at most BRU across Canada. (Company told me only 10 stores were carrying it in stock and knowing BRU that would mean certain volume stores with a certain amount of floor space.)

As for the My Ride install, it's extremely easy rf'ing. Ff'ing it can vary by vehicle as to how reclined it actually is. I don't really worry about a seat that is naturally reclined ff'ing - i've used it once in my truck that way in the center position, it didn't really fit well in the outer positions just because of the shape of the seats and the headrest.

It would be for an 06 Hyundai Santa Fe - any experience with that one?

Rf'ing would be no issue that I can think of, but I don't know about ff'ing. Perhaps someone in the main forum would know?

I believe the headrests are removable in the Santa Fe, and the seats are sloped a little but not extremely so - it would most likely fit fine ff'ing, but it's not something you can 100% know without trying.

I still haven't gotten to check my eldest in the Radian Premier (though he should fit based on the published limits), but am still stewing about keeping my toddler RFing in the grandparents' car.

update: #1 barely fits in the Radian :-( His shoulders are about 1cm below the top harness slot. Sigh. So FrontierXT would be great for him, but there's no way I'll be able to convince my husband that we need two new seats for the grandparents' car.
