My van is getting detailed and my seats are in the garage. I noticed this today  Not sure whether is fraying or fuzzing...thinking fraying and of course britax is closed on the weekends
Britax frontier 3/2011 ordered 5/2011 (of course 13 months)

I don't like the way that looks. I wasn't able to click on them for a closer view. The larger parts sticking out at regular intervals makes it seem like more than fuzzing to me.

I was actually just taking pictures of my FR85 strap because I don't like how much wear it has. Mine was manuf end of July last year and purchased in Nov. After seeing this I wonder if they had a batch for a while. I keep meaning to look at our FR80 that's 3yo to compare.

Thanks that was my thought. My frontier 80 looks perfect, but the adjuster is much wider than on my 85. I feel bad that I didn't notice in the van

I just noticed this same thing on my Chap last month maybe? Called and after asking me to send pics they replaced the whole seat. No more questions asked. From what I hear, Britax is good about stuff like this. And I had no problems whatsoever.
