Need help with RF install Boulevard

We have an 03 Ford E150 with all captains chairs. We've got 6 back seats (2, 2 and 2) and 6 kids. Three in carseats, 2 in boosters and one who doesn't need a booster anymore (12 yo, 95 lbs, 5 feet tall). We have one seating position which is a lap belt only. That's where I put our baby who is almost 1 yo. Our infant seat intalled just fine there. Got a Britax Boulevard for him to rear face in same position. I can get it rock solid by pushing the female end into the belt path, but it doesn't quite lay flat in there (almost does). If I twist the female end just "three" times, the buckle rests on the steel bar on the side and I'm afraid that's not right. I can twitst the female end about 8 times and it is out of the way of the steel bar, but I'm afraid that is too many times. Two kids need boosters so they can't go in that seating position. My oldest 12 yo could, but I'm not sure lap belt only is good for her. Any advice? Is 8 times too many to twist? I'm sure it is. Is getting it "almost" flat into the belt path good enough? I could take pics, but I'm tired right now (installing car seat about 6 times, trying to get it right.) Not taking a trip for a couple of days. :)

Thanks for any help.

Eight times is five times too much. Does it go all the way into the belt path if you don't twist at all?

Only a harnessed seat can go in a lap belt only. It's not safe for boosters, teens, or adults.

Pictures would help a lot.

I'm trying to post pics here. Maybe it will work. :)

Holy smokes, that's an insane stalk.

What if you leave it untwisted and move the carseat over toward the buckle an inch or so? Would that get the buckle all the way into the belt path?

Otherwise, that may simply be incompatible. A seat with a lower base would probably work better.

I will try to move it over but I'm not optimistic. Do you have any recommendations of some other convertible seats to try with this type of belt? If I can't get this to work, I'll move him back to his infant seat (Graco Safe Seat). He hasn't outgrown it yet. I'll have to return this seat to Amazon and shop for another seat. Thanks for your help. I've researched seats to death to arrive at THIS seat. Ugh.

It's a no go all around. I can't get the whole buckle into the belt path. And resting on the steel bars is a no no I guess. I tried this one front facing and a Britax Advocate rear facing and front facing just to see if anything would work here. Nothing works. Ugh. Are there any convertible car seats that will work??? I will have to sort this out before my son outgrows his Graco SafeSeat.

Any more ideas???

When you say resting on the steel bars - I can't tell from the picture if it's lying flat across the bar, or actually pivoting against it. If it's lying flat I'm ok with that. If it's sitting so the bar is a fulcrum then that's not ok.

Can you get someone to help you compress the seat down into the cushion to allow the buckle to be all the way in the belt path? If you can squish it just that little bit more to make the whole thing lower that could work.

A Radian might work well - it's got a low belt path. Other than that I'm not sure.
